					<description>The main reason why &quot;best of breed&quot; gave consultants a harrowing time was that the entities simply didnt map across systems - a &quot;Customer&quot; in Oracle was (and sadly is) no way related to a &quot;Customer&quot; in i2.  I appreciate your post, however I wonder if the vendors are in any case serious about removing the barriers.  What we are taking of is some standard XML style data interchange format which is an industry standard.  However I wonder we are even taking the first steps in that direction, SOA or not.</description>
